Welcome to the world sweet baby girl. Congrats to my aunt and uncle, Kevin and Crystal!!!! This is the miracle baby they've been praying for for so long.
Tiny little Elena West decided she needed to make a grand entrance! Born at only 26 weeks and 5 days(full term is 40 weeks), she weights 1 lb and 5 oz. She has all of her organs, and we think she will be okay, but she is going to live in the hospital for at least 2 months.

Close your Eyes.
Pretend this isnt real. Shut them out, because they cant know how you feel. Take a breath. Let it out. You can hold on forever. Cant let her go. Cant set yourself free. 'Cause Sarah sleeps and she wont wake again. Sarah sleeps. She's dreaming with the angels. Set her free. Let her Sleep. Let our Sarah dream. Open your eyes and see this as it is. Let us in 'cause we do know how you feel. And it's okay to miss her now, but you can't hold on forever. So let her go. Set her free. 'Cause Sarah sleeps and she wont wake again. Sarah sleeps. She's dreaming with the angels. Set her free. Let her Sleep. Sarah sleeps and she wont wake again. Sarah sleeps. She's dreaming with the angels. Set her free. Let her Sleep. Let our Sarah dream. Let our Sarah sleep. "Show me someone who has everything according to plan, and i'll show you someone who doesnt know anything." -Sarah She doesn't see what he sees.
she's a girl that's scared of her emotions, hiding her scars under long sleeves and blue jeans. oh what he wouldn't give to hold her close, tell her every thing will be okay. To write love on her arms, hold her tight keep her safe and warm. she doesn't know she's his world but if she'd only let him in he could take her pain away. She's gorgeous on the outside, but damaged on the inside. she's in the dark, inventing her escape. he reaches out with open arms but she pushes him away. he wonders what it takes to wake her from this nightmare. what he would give To write love on her arms, hold her tight keep her safe and warm. she doesn't know she's his world but if she'd only let him in he could take her pain away. His heart longs and aches for her to see what he sees. convince her. fall blind in love. take his hand make it a permanent glove. let him fill the darkness with bright colored neon. trace his finger over her heart like a child with a crayon. To write love on her arms, hold her tight keep her safe and warm. she doesn't know shes his world but if she'd only let him in... To write love on her arms, hold her tight keep her safe and warm. she doesn't know she's his world but if she'd only let him in he could take her pain away. To write love, to write love, to write love on her arms. I keep seeing so many people saying that the government shouldn't help the people of West, Texas because we the country is broke, and because Texas voted against help for the Hurricane Sandy victims... First of all, our reps voted against it. That doesn't mean we were ALL against it. Second, how fucking PETTY! Yeah, the country is broke. So why the hell are we worrying about disasters in other countries when we cant even take care of our own??? We cant afford to help the victims of hurricane sandy, or the victims of the West explosion, but we can afford drones and to send our troops to places that don't want our help???
BULL! We don't even really need government money to help those people. Search your closets for blankets and clothes you forgot you even had. Buy a case of water and some non-perishable food and send it to them. Get a few able bodies friends together and come help them rebuild their homes, instead of going to Hawaii for a vacation. If everyone in the country did things like that there would be plenty of help for every natural disaster. That's a hell of a lot better than sitting on our asses waiting for the government to do something! It is our job as fellow Americans to help each other in times of need. And i don't just say this for Texas. This is what people should do EVERY time something tragic happens. Like Music? Cool! So do I! Actually, it makes more sense to say im OBSESSED with it. there is one band I am particularly obsessed with at the moment. The Unlikely Candidates. These guys are a Dallas/Ft Worth local influenced by The Strokes. If you haven't heard of them yet, you soon will. In fact, take a minute to check out their latest single: http://www.sonicbids.com/2/EPK/?epk_id=339651#!audio I promise, you wont regret it. I have been lucky enough to see these guys perform twice so far, and it has been a blast both times. Not only do they play amazing music, they are genuinely fun to watch. I will absolutely be looking forward to seeing them again. Preferably soon, because i have a feeling they are going to be in high demand any day now. I also want to add that not only are these guys amazing musicians, they are actually approachable. Normally i don't like going up to band members after they perform because it's awkward. But Cole is really cool. He doesn't just say thank you and brush you off like i've seen so many musicians do. He has a conversation with you. That is what a true musician would do. And im positive the rest of the band would do the same. I just didnt get a chance to talk to any of them. Make sure you check out their Facebook page too! Keep it up guys! And hurry up with that album!
“The past is for learning from and letting go. You can't revisit it. It vanishes.” -Adele Parks4/11/2013 In 33 days my life changes forever. In 33 days i become one half of a whole. In 33 days i will begin the life long process of marriage. Justin is my best friend. Never in my life did i allow myself to imagine someone as amazing and as perfect for me as he is. He truly is the other half of me. Without him, i am not me. I can say without a doubt that my marriage will last. Because i know something other people dont. I know not to expect perfection. i know that true love can withstand any storm. and i know that there is ALWAYS a calm after the storm. Yes. Yes he nearly did. After 8 2/3 perfect innings when, with only 1 out needed, Marwin Gonzales hits a base hit straight through Darvish's legs. I must say, that was one of the more intense moments of my fan-dom.... i can only imagine how it must have felt to be Yu. but Darvish is a classy man. He shrugged and smiled as he left the field. It really seems that the fans showed more disappointment then he did... But let's be honest, that was still an incredible game in which the rangers went on to shut the Astros out 7-0. And before you say "well, it WAS the Astros. That isn't that hard." why don't you look up the number of perfect games pitched in all of baseball history. It is shockingly small, regardless of how terrible the opposing team is. But i have faith. I will not jynx it....but i have faith. |
