My sister was my best friend.
Her shine put the sun to shame.
When I was young and reckless,
she was always there to take the blame.
My shoulder to cry on,
She always knew the words to say.
My sister, My friend,
She knew the best games to play.
But then one day she shot the sun from the sky,
and left me here to wonder why.
She gave no warning before her light went out.
The last lesson she taught
was what grief was all about.
BUt through it all
I learned she was wrong.
'Cause without pain,
You'll never grow strong.
And so, dear sister,
My best friend,
I won't say goodbye.
This isn't the end.
